Somatic & Nervous System-Based Therapy
I help people connect with their bodies and feel their emotions
I specialize in therapy that creates the depth and possibility that talk therapy alone can't.
My work centers on helping you move beyond just understanding to face and feel into what you've been avoiding, what has felt impossible to hold, or what feels out of reach. And to experience the aliveness, freedom, and connection on the other side.
What It’s Like to Work Together
My clients often notice early on that I'm listening not just to what's said, but to what's unsaid or bubbling beneath the surface. I pay close attention, help you notice what’s stirring underneath, and stay with you through whatever comes up in that process.
You don't have to arrive knowing what to say. If all you have is a knot in your stomach or a feeling you can't name, that's enough. We'll start there.
Feeling what you've spent years avoiding can be scary. We'll move toward it at a pace your body can handle, and you won't be doing it alone.
Over time, feeling become less scary and more accessible. Your body starts to feel less like something to manage and more like somewhere you live. And you find you can stay with yourself, even when things get hard.
What I Believe About Healing
I believe most suffering comes down to disconnection, from ourselves, from others, and from the life around us.
When life experiences are overwhelming and met with too little support we form patterns and defenses that keep us safe. They protect the most tender and precious pieces of us in times of hardship. But as we grow and life changes, they don't always fall away. Sometimes they end up leading to pain, anxiety, unrelenting sadness, stuckness, overwhelm or just feeling lost. And underneath a feeling of disconnection from the deep, honest relationship with ourselves that so many of us are longing for.
That connection is how we know who we are, what we need, how to move through the world, and gives us the strength to navigate life with steadiness, grace, and ease.
That's why I believe healing happens through connection and feeling, not insight alone. It means coming back into contact with what you truly feel, in your body and in relationship, without rushing to control or fix it. It means meeting your patterns of protection with respect and care and showing them it’s safe now to let go.
Health isn't about always feeling calm. It's about no longer being afraid to feel what you honestly feel.
